Stunning location to greektown casino. Extremely friendly staff, great pool. Eggs, bacon, hot waffles and pastries were lovely and overall there was plenty of food.

The hotel was quite convenient, I liked location and staff. Simple decor of the room. The area was walkable, an excellent place for me. Moreover, I could explore guardian building as it was close to the place...
For us it was ideal.

The beds are perfect, and the breakfast is COMPLIMENTARY. The idea to include coffee/tea making equipment and a refrigerator in the king room was nice. You got good value.

this hotel was nice comfy base for exploring detroit, enjoyed it. the bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. besides, we parked the car nearby. its location is great. took a walk around city center, located just a pleasant stroll away from the venue. there is an attached restaurant on site.

Diner Lafayette Coney Island with quick meals was located 15 minutes walk away. The breakfast was good & parking was nearby. Excellent for visiting campus martius park.

good location (very central); had a room with two queen-size beds, well equipped with fridge and microwave; had a quick look into the rooms with swimming pool and sport machines - small but good; good offer for the breakfast; always access to hot water, tea and coffee; parking is done by valet service. Places to visit: Historical Museum, Henry Ford Museum, People Mover
Detroit is a poor city. lots of waste because no reusable dishes for breakfast (one way plates, cutlery, mugs, etc.) - not environmental friendly

Excellent location, within walking distance to the city center and major attractions. Good internet. The room is very spacious and clean. Good view from the window. You can make free coffee at any time. It is possible to park the car.
At breakfast, it was a very comical situation. A hotel employee, despite the fact that people came and tried to eat breakfast, was taking food out of the room. You could say she got away with it. It was as if people came to her house in person and ate her food, and she tried to save them heroically. It's not okay. Besides that, everything was fine, unless the parking charge was high enough.

My fiance and I were celebrating my birthday, and we're looking to get away for a night, and this hotel was just right. The price we paid was perfect for what was included, and breakfast was awesome.
I hated that the pool was smaller then I what I expected. My fiance and I really could not get in because there were so many kids in it all day long.

Old hotel, very outdated. Staff had major attitudes and we're not friendly at all. Loud people swearing and yelling. Lots of drunks not a great place for kids.

We were staying in Detroit for a Red Wings game and the hotel was only a few blocks from the Arena. Staff was incredible! Can't remember the name of the guy who checked us in but he was super friendly and extremely accommodating. The free breakfast was great and the valet parking was really convenient.
The building was dated but they did a decent job making the place a bit more modern. We did notice the door to our bathroom wouldn't close properly and anytime the toilet was flushed it was pretty loud but neither were a huge deal to us. We were visiting from Canada so the exchange rate made our stay a little more expensive than if we were staying local but compared to other places in the area this was a good value.

Hotel was very busy but the rooms were quiet.
Would have liked a little cheaper price.
